Action partially continued across the KRU Nationwide leagues on Saturday 8 January 2022.
There were three fixtures played in the Western region, Bungoma edging Borderrucks 16-10 as CITAM Kisumu registered a 28-17 win away to Siaya. Hosts Vihiga Granites lost at home, going down 12-7 to Sigalagala.
Webuye received a 28-0 walkover result over Kisii while two other fixtures were postponed.
There was only one match in the Coast region, Mombasa defeating Malindi 20-3 on a weekend that saw two other matches in the region postponed.
Only two matches took place in the Central region, Meru clinching the Meru Derby with an 11-0 victory over Meru University as Zetech edged MKU Thika 13-6.
There was no action in the Rift Valley and Nairobi regional leagues.
