Quins, the third most successful side in Kenya Cup history with eight titles since its inception in 1970 have stuttered through the current campaign, currently placed sixth on the log with 16 points coming off three wins and three defeats from their six outings to date. They have their work cut out against a Homeboyz side that has lies a position below them.
In a season where they have thus far been shorn of key personnel through injury and other commitments, a win for the proud Ngong Road will definitely lift their spirits and give them the impetus to challenge for playoff qualification at the close of the league phase of the Kenya Cup. They lie seventh on the log with 14 points, having collected fewer bonus points than their sixth placed opponents and will need to dig deep for inspiration if they are to remain in contention for a berth in the playoffs.
