Kenya Harlequin endured an early moment of turbulence to stay unbeaten after match three action at the RFUEA.

Quins came into this fixture off the back of two bonus point wins, but for about nineteen minutes looked like they would be losing that perfect start to the season.

Mwamba’s Brian Mutugi stunned Quins, touching down three minutes after kickoff for a 5-0 lead.

Mike Onsando responded for the hosts moments later with Cornelius Mokoro converting to give Quins the 7-5 lead but they were again caught napping and punished by a Mike Okello try from a Mwamba counter attack, the scores now 10-7 to Mwamba.

Mokoro then struck a brace with Amon Wamalwa managing a conversion to put Quins 19-10 up.

Skipper Herman Humwa then landed their bonus point try, Mokoro converting to put Quins 26-10 at the break.

Second half tries from Richel Wangila and Mokoro who converted alongside Wamalwa confirmed the 40-10 result for Quins.
