Strathmore Leos beat the Mean Machine 16-8 at the Madaraka Grounds while Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology survived a USIU Martials’ scare to claim their 19-18 victory over the hosts.
In the Coast Region, South Coast Pirates secured their home win beating the visiting Catholic Monks 15-14 at the St. Joseph’s Ukunda. At the Mombasa Sports Club, an unconverted try and penalty in the second half were enough to bag the 8-0 win over the Northern Suburbs.
In the Rift Valley Region, Egerton Wasps had the biggest winning record for the weekend as they beat Kisii RFC 22-00 as the University of Eldoret Trojans beat Eldoret RFC 9-8 in the Eldoret derby.
