Kabras Sugar maintained their perfect run in the Kenya Cup with a hard fought 24-17 win over Kenyatta University Blak Blad at the Kenyatta University on Saturday 2 March 2024. The result kept the defending champions top of the log on 50 points from 10 consecutive bonus point wins.

Elsewhere, Nondescripts boosted their playoff chances with a narrow 11-10 win away to Nakuru as Strathmore Leos moved to safety with a 49-31 win at home to Catholic Monks who have more match to determine whether they survive for another season in the Kenya Cup or drop to the second tier KRU Championship.

Kenya Harlequin are already through to the quarterfinal playoffs but they ensured that they build the requisite momentum with a 31-10 win away to Kisumu as Mwamba benefitted from a 28-0 walkover over Homeboyz, a result which ended the deejays 13 year spell in the Kenya Cup and condemned them to the second tier KRU Championship for next season.
